The gallery’s first exhibition by German artist Birte Hölscher (1967, Osterholz-Scharmbeck) focuses on work created whilst on her last residency in Iceland, a place she visits year after year observing and documenting the changing landscape and seascape.
This exhibition ‚True North‘ is both a love letter to nature, and a warning; human intervention, pollution and climate change are having an impact on even the most remote and underpopulated places in the northern hemisphere.
The exhibition will be on view until 22 November.
